About Juliet Platt – The Case Study Writer
There is no better story to tell and share than one which celebrates success. It’s the best kind of win-win-win. As a freelance writer, author and natural born story-teller I am thrilled that I get to talk to businesses about the fantastic service they have delivered to their clients – and then craft an account of their success to inspire others.
My features, articles and letters have been published in Mslexia, Wiltshire Life, The Lady, Women and Golf and Swindon Link Magazine, where I was principal writer for five years, reporting positive news stories that revealed the huge beating heart of a much maligned town.
Commercially my clients have hailed from sectors such as logistics, IT, project management, marketing, design, education, financial services, start-ups, multi-media, and hairdressing. Whatever the sector, inspirational stories always come from the people within, and it is delightful to listen to them and then bring it all to life on the page.
As a qualified executive coach with a bold curiosity, I am a highly skilled interviewer – perfect for capturing the story beneath the words of my clients!
I am the self-published author of The Journal Writer’s Handbook, and have had short stories published in Writers’ Magazine, The Posara Prize and in a self-published anthology entitled Bright Familiar Surrounds.
I have a Modern Languages degree in French and Spanish from Cambridge University; nine years’ background in corporate IT project management; and rich life experiences from living and working in France, Spain and Canada.
A keen golfer, I chronicled my year’s captaincy at ladygolfcaptain.wordpress.com, a blog which continues to attract thousands of monthly views.
Now based in North East Wiltshire on the outskirts of Swindon, I can work in person or remotely, depending on your location.
If you have a story that needs to be told, and a need to inspire, engage and persuade others, do get in touch. I would love to help.
Getting a Success Story written by Juliet has taught me how valuable it is to work with experts. Not only did she deliver work of a fantastic quality but she also drove and managed the whole project. The peace of mind from having someone take full ownership of a task and not having to worry about the result is absolutely priceless.
If you need important copy that will grow your business, work with a Pro – work with Juliet.Martin Zeman
“We engaged Juliet to produce three Success Stories and one Case Study reflecting the work we had undertaken for two commercial kitchens, one property developer and one industrial client. Juliet forms an excellent rapport with everyone and knows the right, impartial questions to ask to open up the story and get the most useful feedback. She carried out the whole process from setting the appointments, carrying out the interviews, writing it all up and getting the final stories endorsed. If we’ d decided to do it all ourselves we’d still be talking about it and not getting it done. It’s beneficial to outsource this activity to a professional of Juliet’s calibre not only because the written quality is superior but also because it takes it off your to-do list completely!”
Juliet crafted new copy for my website in a way that gave me a much better perspective on my business, which helps people to obtain a better Return on Investment (ROI) from their online marketing. I knew that my business makes an enormous difference to my clients’ websites and campaigns, but I had been struggling to articulate clearly and precisely what my service is, and the benefits that I deliver. Working with Juliet not only gave me the basis for new content on my website, but it also helped me to feel much happier with my own proposition and how to get that message across.Lawrence Roberts
